We are looking for an HCM Solutions Consultant to own system and product demonstrations to prospective benefits insurance brokers and employer customers. Solutions Consultant will provide consulting to our broker partners and employers during the sales process on the features and functionality of our Human Capital Management product suite.

 

The HCM Solutions Consultant will support Sales from a product and technical resource standpoint. The HCM Solutions Consultant will be responsible for achieving expertise in the product offerings, and will also be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities for broker partner’s employer groups and managing the transition from Sales to Operations.

 

Occasional travel will be required.

 

 

About the HCM Solutions Consultant Position

 

Solutions Consultants at PlanSource are the integral link between our technology and sales teams. As an HCM Solutions Consultant, you will provide critical technical insight during all steps of the sales process, from initial proposals to product demonstrations to preparation for implementations.

 

Every day is different for a Solutions Consultant, but these will be your primary responsibilities:

  • Participate in the sales analysis process; complete pre-sales analysis to determine information required for the product demonstration, matching the prospects needs with our product suite and capabilities.  This meeting(s) with the prospect and/or client is conducted via a teleconference or onsite visit
  • Conduct meetings with the Sales Rep, Technology Consultant and other participants to create a plan and strategize for the presentation  
  • Prepare examples of targeted data, custom reports, and custom import/export templates to conform to the prospect’s key business requirements
  • Participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for your prospects/clients, to include final review of all responses
  • Conduct onsite or web based Product Demonstrations for:
    • Prospects / clients in Assigned Territory
    • Prospects / clients outside of Assigned Territory
    • Seminars, Workshops
    • Tradeshows – National, Regional & Local
  • Follow up involvement with prospects / clients throughout the sales cycle as needed to help secure business

We are looking for a National Solutions Consultant to take on an essential role in cultivating and developing large deals within our core sales organization. Working closely with our Executive Vice President of Sales and Regional Directors, the National Solutions Consultant will be responsible for managing all aspects of large deals, including discovery, qualification, onsite meetings, product demonstrations, and finalist presentations. Ultimately, the goal of the National Solutions Consultant is to provide consistency and excellence, in order to increase the win rate of large deals.

 

About the National Solutions Consultant Position

The National Solutions Consultant will support large deals in the core sales organization through the full sales cycle. No two days will be the same for National Solutions Consultant, but these will be your primary responsibilities:

 

  • Drive solutions for complex transactions involving multiple product lines and technical domains as part of RFI, RFP and informal transaction-processes, supporting a cross functional team of experts.
  • Provide consultation to key clients in defining or designing business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies based on customer requirements.
  • Define solution vision and direction, building on synergies and benefits across related product lines and technologies; provide expertise on structuring deals to differentiate from the competition.
  • Envision an implementation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client.
  • Give system and product demonstrations to show potential customers and PlanSource partners how our products work and demonstrate specific capabilities via live and web presentations; explain how our implementations and other processes work.
  • Manage the proposal process which will entail working with our RFP writer to manage the RFP responses.
  • Work with our marketing team to develop, manage and assure marketing collateral and proposals are up to date when systems or other changes occur.
  • Serve as a liaison with partners, and manage the stewardship, reporting, responses to requests for refinement of relationship.
  • Travel regularly - You will travel roughly 35% of the time, visiting our large prospective customers during the sales process, attending conferences and training, etc.
