PlanSource is looking for a System Administrator to join our team to serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all aspects of network and systems administration, configuration and support.

About the System Administrator 


The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining critical systems to support internal Operations and client facing issues and an escalation point for Systems Support Specialists.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and maintain reliable & secure datacenter services in coordination with Network, Systems, InfoSec and DevOps Engineers
  • Participate in datacenter change management process
  • Ensure Infrastructure service availability
  • Ensure data and access protection of datacenter workloads and business continuity

About You



  • Self-motivated, highly reliable, quality driven and be able to prioritize work volume
  • Outstanding communications and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail orientation and the discipline to do proper documentation


Technical Requirements:


  • 4+ years with software virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • 4+ years in Infrastructure administration and support
  • 4+ years with Microsoft Technologies (Server, RDS, Workplace, Software, Filesharing)
  • 4+ years with business and infrastructure applications
  • Experience with SAN Operations (Dell EMC preferred)
  • Experience with datacenter operations (Azure AD, AD, Permission Management, Data Protection)
  • Experience with software virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with Cloud services to include O365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online
  • Experience with PowerShell
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with network switches and security appliances (Cisco or Juniper preferred)
  • Strong TCP/IP skills including DNS, DHCP
