    PlanSource is a high-growth software company headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices throughout the U.S. including Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Grand Rapids and Charleston, South Carolina. We are looking for a high-energy Marketing Representative to execute and follow-up on our demand-generating marketing programs. PlanSource sells through insurance brokers and carriers, and does not sell direct to employers, so this position is focused on generating new partners as well as new business acquisition with existing partners.

     

    The Marketing Representative will be based in our Charleston, South Carolina office and will report directly to the Director of Demand Generation.

     

    About the Position

    The Marketing Representative will be responsible for executing on the company’s marketing campaigns to increase business with new and existing partners. Typical marketing campaigns include trade shows, webinars, emails, phone, and direct mail. The Marketing Representative will:

     

    • Review and prioritize campaign follow-up for sales representatives, including trade show lists, webinar attendees, website visitors, etc.
    • Conduct research to identify target accounts and key players within those accounts
    • Ensure that account and contact data in Salesforce is accurate and complete
    • Monitor and report on lead sourcing and campaign data
    • Source potential sales opportunities through inbound campaign follow up, which may include sending emails, making calls and reaching out via LinkedIn or other avenues
    • Route potential leads to sales team members with validated account and contact information
    • Develop sales team relationships and processes to ensure efficient lead passing and timely follow up
    • Assist sales and marketing team members with meeting follow-up, mailings and other high-touch campaigns
    • Use Salesforce and Pardot to execute and automate marketing programs and campaigns

    About You

    The Marketing Representative is a position where you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of B2B sales and marketing. As a Marketing Representative, you are self-motivated, tech savvy, a quick learner and love problem-solving. You are not intimidated by learning how to use new software (you’ll need to get familiar with Salesforce and Pardot if you aren’t already), and you like using your analytical skills to solve problems.

     

    In addition, your qualifications/skills include:

     

    • 2-3 Years Marketing and/or Demand Generation Experience
    • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills: must be able to communicate key messages about the company and our value proposition to external contacts
    • Ability to write professional follow-up emails that communicate clearly and succinctly
    • Experience using Salesforce.
    • Experience using Excel to analyze data (preferably comfortable with pivot tables)
    • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to achieve weekly and monthly goals
    • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment where you are building systems and processes from the ground up
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Communications or Computer Science preferred
