    PlanSource is a high-growth software company headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Charleston, and Grand Rapids, MI.  The Financial Services Specialist will provide for support for the financial processes related to Flex and Health Care Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement and VEBA accounts.

     

    About the Financial Services Specialist Position

    In this role you will complete daily, weekly and monthly banking processes related to Flex and Health Care Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement and VEBA accounts, preparing detailed reports to complete claims reimbursement payments and debit card funding, working in a team environment. You will be responsible to perform frequent reconciliation and audits of data, using multiple systems and bank accounts.

     

    Responsibilities / Duties:

    Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: 

    • Process daily reports to generate checks and ACH payments for debit card funding and check reimbursements related to
    • Work closely with employers/carriers and internal teams to resolve billing and enrollment related issues
    • Provide team support for internal quality control reviews
    • Participate in yearly open enrollment updates for Billing Reconciliation Services clients
    • Support continuous improvement efforts to drive greater efficiency of Billing operations
    • Must be able to work outside of normal work hours
    • Assist with other duties and projects as required, which may include review and enhancement of database and processes used in order to increase team efficiencies

    About You

    The ideal candidate has strong accounting/reconciliation skills with a solid understanding of banking processes and procedures related to Flex and Health Care, Health Savings and Health Reimbursement accounts, including NACHA reporting,  with an analytical approach to procedure.  Experience with HRIS, Accounting, Benefits Administration or other similar systems is required.

     

    In addition, your experience and qualifications will include:

     

    • 3-5+ years experience in accounting, billing, or equivalent position required
    • 3+ years experience in benefits administration including enrollment processing and carrier billings preferred
    • 3+ years of SAAS utilization
    • Proficient in MS Excel
    • Advanced critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to thrive in a flexible work environment and to adapt to change
    • Extremely detail oriented
    • Ability to multi task and manage priorities accordingly
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • A genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the organization as well as collaborate with cross-functional business partners and technical teams.
