    PlanSource is a high-growth software company headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices in Salt Lake City, and Minneapolis.  We are hiring an Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for providing internal Tier 2 Software Support related to the usage and maintenance of the benefit application products and services under rapid development. This position will provide daily internal support for our software through analysis of submitted issues, research, testing, and resolution determination. Additional responsibilities may include creation of formulas, query generation, and defect tracking. Must be able to work collaboratively and independently to help ensure that our hosted web products are stable, reliable, scalable, and responsive to our customer's needs.

    About You


    The Application Support Analyst is the bridge between Operations and Development and is the first escalation point for all internal team.  You will serve a critical role triaging software issues and providing technical guidance for complex configurations.     As the Application Support Analyst, you will:

      • Process internal support tickets related to benefit administration software
      • Bring issue resolution and prevention by providing guidance and subject matter expertise to internal teams
      • Research and resolve user problems as well as issues and problems with software systems, operations processing, and assigned processing environments
      • Ensure that all internal and external service levels are met and quality standards maintained
      • Use deductive problem solving skills to investigate and solve a broad range of problems
      • Maintain advanced knowledge of the benefit platform
      • Leverage technical skills to analyze system configuration, logs, database contents, and source code to aid in defect resolution
      • Identify defects in software and escalate as appropriate to ensure that defects are eliminated and impacted data is corrected
      • Monitor the applications, systems and hardware in the processing environment for abnormal processing conditions
      • Other tasks as assigned



    Skills/ Abilities:

      • Ability to interact effectively with both non-technical users and highly technical users. 
      • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks 
      • Familiarity with trouble shooting methodologies 
      • Willingness to research and master complex software 
      • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
      • Motivated self-starter
      • Prior benefit industry experience preferred
      • Familiarity with Ruby (or other web oriented languages), and SQL is beneficial.
